Tournament Details:

The tournament will be held between 29 May - 9 June 2021.
 

Each participant has 3 defeats. All matches are played according to the method of elimination. He is eliminated from the tournament, which was beaten 3 times. All participants without 3 defeat count advance to the next round matches.

The match between two people is played over 9 points. The first player to reach 9 points wins.

The games are played in multiples. Mars, game score is evaluated as x2 points. Super Mars, game score is evaluated as x3 points.

 

The Crawford Rule applies to all competitions.

The games are played on a timed basis. In the match, each player is given a total of 10 minutes and 15 seconds for each move. If the player does not make his move within the given 15 seconds and exceeds the time, the time from the 10-minute time frame given to him until he finishes his move starts to decrease. This time and duration are indicated separately for both players on the screen. The player who consumes 15 minutes before the end of the match is deemed to be defeated.

After the tournament registrations are completed, the participants will be notified via SMS the link of the site where the backgammon tournament will be played, the code to be entered, the day and time of the match one day in advance or the same day.
 

Tournament hours will be notified via SMS. Players must be at the table on the day and time of the match specified by SMS. A player who is not on the game table within 15 minutes of the game start time will be forfeited to be defeated.

Tournament matches are determined automatically by the computer system.

You don't need to download any apps to play your tournament match. You can play on your computer or mobile device via the browser (Google, Chrome, Safari).

The tournament match you play can be watched by your loved ones.

The Crawford rule states that if one player reaches a score one point short of the match, neither player may offer a double in the immediately following game. This one game with no doubling is called the Crawford game.

Forfeit Losses:

For players with important and valid excuses, the decision of the tournament committee is applied.

All players, regardless of their rank, must complete all league matches. A player who does not complete their match without an IMPORTANT and VALID excuse will be considered a Non-Sporting Player.

While making group rankings in all categories, 2 (two) points are awarded to Wins and 1 (one) point to Losses. Again, 2 (two) points are applied for forfeit victories. Forfeit by default is given “0” (zero) points. Players who leave the league before completing 50% of their matches will be deemed to have lost all matches by default. The results of the matches of the players who did not complete 50% and / or more of their matches and did not complete the remaining matches will be accepted and will be declared defeated in the matches they did not play.

If there are three players continuing; and if all three players have 2 losses (assume 3 losses setting) and sit-out players are equal, then the system is aborted and the director manually executes the following format: Three players play each other in matches of lengh specified by the director. The player with two wins will be the winner of the tournament. Score is not a factor when deciding. In case of equality, the same thing will be repeated with shorter matches. If the second place is not determined when the winner is known, two players will play a match for 2nd and 3rd places.
If three players are left, all with 2 losses, but unequal sit-out players, then the tournament continues normally.
